First shots with the Nikon D40
So I finally got to take some test shots with the new DSLR at Hofstra. I'm pretty impressed!! As Yoda said, "I have much to learn." But am looking forward to learning all I can! These shots are all unedited and are pretty much raw since I don't have photoshop on this comp yet. Let me know what you think!

New Toys!!
So Christmas in April came a few weeks ago (IE: Tax Return season). I got a pretty generous return this year so I decided to treat myself to some new toys... Got me a sexy Nikon D40 DSLR camera with 2 lenses; a 18-55mm lens and a 55-200mm VR lens. I can't wait to use it!!

Another pretty little thing I got was this 8" dell Mini 9 that was transformed into a "mini mac." (Running off a Mac OSX operating system). Big Props to Justin for making this little beauty for me. I'll be replacing this as my on-the-go system when I'm on the road for everyday uses, and give my mom my old laptop (unit on the right). You can tell how small the mini9 is from the first and last picture, I love it!
